what sort of boost are people getting? or what are they choosing to run?

CT 20 turbos (assumed thats what your running) are capable of 14-15psi but are inefficient in that range - also the engines arent known for lasting very long with that much boost.

9-11 are common numbers for what is safe to run.

egt's post turbo should be 550-600 max. pre turbo about 750????? I cant remember the exact figures as my pyro was post Turbo - pre turbo is more accurate.

I run 11psi which I believe is the stock setting on the wastegate actuator for the CT20.
My EGT pre Turbo is 350 - 450 under normal load and the highest I have seen is 600 pulling hard up the gateway bridge in Brisbane in 5th.
As state above you can go higher in EGT but I'm happy with the performance I've goot at that temp. The main thing is to pay attention to pre and post when people talk temps as they differ.
From memory I wound the fuel screw out a little over one turn (it's been a year since I did mine so I don't really remember).

Nah it's not a ct20 it's a safari turbo and manifold. The pyro is post trbo. ATM it's running 9 psi will bump it upto 10 or 11 soon. Getting EGTS of 520 under load on 33s with 4.55 diffs at. 125kph and cruising at that drops to about 490. My pump has been fully rebuilt with a boost compensator as my father is a fuel injection specialist
