hzj80 fuel tower

Post by GettingDieseled »

hello all, i've bee looking at engine bay pics to figure out how to bolt the filter tower. There are two parts, a flat bracket, and the tower bracket.......these are the only items i received and told i needed, but i cannot find a flush location around the steering box area to install.

Does anyone have the diagram? Or better does anyone have a close up pic?

Oh, btw, i am installing 1hzt into my 80

Much Thanks

I think it goes on the inner guard near the brake booster on drivers side or same area on passenger side. play with the captive nut holes there to get the correct pair. Is there for 100 and 75 series so probally same.

yea, just about to update, quick responses as always. So i couldn't sleep and went out to figure it out. I had to take out the guard to the steering shaft joint and another plate at the apex of the spring tower. Still need to find out where the vacuum goes.
