where to get 14'' bilstein shocks?

Post by 83-mud-lux »

how ya goin,

just doing a few modifications to my hilux ute got longer springs in the rear and 200mm eye to eye shackles and wondering if someone can point me in the right direction where to get 14'' travel eye-eye bilstein shocks.i know i have to make a shock crossmember and all the other gear just need to know where to get these shocks.

i live in north brisbane (caboolture) and have tried opposite lock, tjm and arb and none of them deal with bilstein apparently, tjm said try burson auto parts so i did and they dont do a 14'' travel shock cause there a ''competition" shock.

would be great if you guys could help us out with where i can find these shocks in north brisbane and a price would be excellent..

cheers..smiley..

If you want someone in Brisbane, try Fulcrum suspension. Probably wont be cheap, but they should be able to get them quickly.

You can't beat lowrangeoffroad.com mate. Just email them for a shipping quote and pay through paypal or credit card. Very good to deal with and the cheapest. Im running 14" bilsteins front and rear in my lux and thats where i got them from.

Are you going to need 14s Smiley??

I just fitted 10s to the rear of mine, with the IFS springs, and 200mm shackles.
I also used the inverted mounts from Buddy.

But Locktup4x4 or LowrangeOffroad would be your best bet mate.

And update your build thread dude.

Pretty sure GSA Wholesale Suspension on the south side are the QLD distributors for Bilstein.

lowrangeoffroad.com are pretty good, way cheaper than Aussie distributors.

I got Bilsteins a couple of years ago for my 80 series from Tyres and More at Strathpine, so you could try them. No idea on pricing though

Would 12" shortbodies be of any use to you? Just listed these for sale.
