3f turbo

ive got a fj62 3f i will be using it as a tow vehicle / tourer once my comp truck is finished
i was wondering if turboing it is a good option just running small boost ive driven turbod
gq patrols and there pretty inpresive would it be similer

Can't remember his username but hopefully the member will chime in. He has a 40 with a 2f Turbo I think. Some good details in his build thread.

I would looked at EFI while your there.

straight lpg and turbo is the best bet unless you like wasting money

i did over 5000km on my turbo 2f blew the head gasket once after a turbo upgrade and running 18psi for a week it really didn't like that was very happy at 12psi even 5psi is noticable

Will vouch for Pcmans lpg/ turbo mix. thing pulled like a teenage boy in any gear with 5psi. I never experienced it with 12!

Matt Mcinnes he called it a 2feti used the 2f block with the 3fe head and a turbo, he did alot of mods for more power/torque. Im copying parts of his design with mine. His build thread on here has been archived i think but search 2feti on ih8mud forum, might pay to have a good look around there too im sure someone has done it before.
