Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Does anybody know of someone who's put a supercharger kit or turbo kit onto a 2.7 hilux 4x4? I'd like to fit one to a hilux I'm buying but I have no idea where to start!

The ecu in the 3rzfe is absolute junk.

Which ever way you go, at least do an aftermarket ecu.

To give you an indication of price if you paid a shop to do it properly, dont expect alot of change out of $10K

Or, some shops will do it on the cheap, maybe 5 or 6K, but the car will never drive good, be reliable or powerfull.

What you will need

Turbo manifold ($600), turbo (1300), turbo fit kit (oil/water lines and fittings 330) exhaust (850), ecu (1200), wire the ecu up (800), either larger injectors or secondary injectors (650), larger fuel pump (250), fuel pressure regulator (250), blow off valve (180), intercooler ($750), So your up to about $7K without any labour.

Then there is the small things, air filter, airbox, compliance plate, tuning, etc...
Even 10K will start to come up short if you want to do a good job on it.

Dude speek to lux89. He turboed his 3RZ. Runs a Haltech ecu, eBay turbo, front mount intercooler etc. Pretty phat truck.
And he didn't spend no where near 7g.
