Outer Limits 4x4 Board

this refers to a 4.2 td6

for some time theres been a noise at boost above 10psi. this was with the factory turbo and now custom garrett. it sounds like leaking air but have been unable to trace.

decided to remove the inlet manifold and founds signs of leaking air/oil, hopefuly this is the problem.

what is recommend for a replacement with boost up to 20. is some form of rtv suitable as well.

I used whatever it was that coventrys sold me in a top end overhaul kit. good for 30psi. I added a very light smear of blue silicone.

Genuine Nissan steel gasket works cost bout $80.

have a mate ordering one at trade price and reassemble this weekend.

hopefully this fixes the issues but not 100% convinced.

also checked flatness on the manifold and nothing alarming.
