I must be getting old ( petrol in a diesel )

Just had a brain fart at the servo and put 700ml of petrol in my diesel 60. I know I should have drained it but I just finished work for the week, it's raining so I just put 85 liters of diesel in on top and drove off.
How bad is it were talking over 120 parts diesel to one part petrol but I suppose if it doesn't mix it could do damage ?

Dont worry about it. Cheaper than installing an LPG kit...

ive put a litre or 2 in my vdj cruiser tank to clean things out a bit..... its like a steroids for your diesel. just dont do it too much or you'll do damage as it burns alot hotter than diesel etc. etc.

X2 quite a few people will put a couple of litres of petrol in their diesels every few tank fills as its supposedly helps keep the fuel system clean.
If as you said, its 120:1, I wouldn't be too worried. I'm not sure I would make a habit of it, but think it would be fine

Ahh so no injector cleaner? I was think a bottle of cleaner would help keep the pump lubricated? It is turbo @ 10psi but unless on the highway i dont go over 2000rpm

It'll be fine, as others have stated petrol is a good injector cleaner. 700ml isn't worth worrying about. Recently a bloke put 20l in his bt50 and drove it 100kms before he realized. Replaced fuel and filter all good.

if you're that worried about it just keep topping the tank up (with diesel) i wouldnt stress at all about 700mls though.
i put 60l of premium in at alice springs on my way up here to katherine. drained all i could but there was some left (1 or 2l to 180l) and got the best fuel economy of the whole trip with no i'll side affects showing after 100,000 km now.

700ml of ULP in 85l of diesel won't hurt the IP.
Chuck a couple of hundred ml of 2 stroke oil in if you are worried.
