Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Dose anyone no if the tapper on a GQ tie rod is different to the tapper on a MQ tie rod as I have made a heavy duty drag link with 2 tie rods welded in to some tube works fine but noticed today as the wheels turn either way the drag link appears to drop slightly then turn only on the end that gose into the steering box end.

Can you bolt in a GU front diff into a GQ with out any mods.Also can you fit the crown wheel and pinion out of a GQ into a GU housing or do a straight swap for the hole center out of a GQ

Yes you can swap centres GQ to GU if they are the small centres not like the rearer 4.8Centre,air locker centres are diffrent but you can put GU front locker to GQ BUT NOT REVERSED WITH OUT REMOVING CROSS SHAFT OUT OF LOCKER GQ LOCKER.
