Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey guys i have a ln111 extra cab hilux fitted with a 1kz and auto from a kzn130 surf, goes well but i want to convert it to manual, my question is....
will hilux 1kz gearbox work behind my motor without any head aches?
do i need to change the ecu to the manual type?
