Thanks Matt

Are yours 2 or 2.5 x 16/18 ???

On my truck with the 2s I built / set it up with that i borrowed, I put max oil in and put an extra restricter were a screw would go I was happy with the way it drive

I was think of trying about 550ml oil

also hear that the lower presure I can run the better ??? ride height isn't a issue low is good

I would think i would rather lean to having a stiffer ride and not let the car be to floppy.

I'm always keen to learn stuff and finding out the what and why behind stuff

thanks

there the same as yours.. 2.0 x 18" race runners in the rear.. yeah i like the stiffness of the oil change made a massive difference straight away.. i use to run 650ml in fronts before i got the coilovers in there
rear pressure is about 180psi , that gives me 4-5in up travel...
fronts i use to run 350psi with 3in up travel.. to support the big boat anchor v8 inthe front..

What are you using to pressurise them? Air or nitrogen? How are you pumping them up? I have one that is weeping oil.

You should be charging them with nitrogen

Use Nitro and regulator and all the gear I put the car on the hoist at my business - JMW Engineering ( shameless plug )- lift it all the way up and there you go

I'm more intrested in what the max oil cap is Ive been looking at a few other sites I have 2.5 inch ones which there isn't as much writen about but i'll try 550ml & will see how much Pete put in them before he sent them

found a few other things to try so will do that and it should be all good

Weeping oil = Bad gland seal

check the rod to make sure its not damaged if so fix it and put new seals in they are an't rocket science just intrested in what poeple have tried

James Pete wouldnt have put any oil in them as they come with oil from manufacture... unless they were second hand ones ??
