Hi,

just to let you know that I made my first "longer" trip last weekend.
It was about 950km in 3 days and I had no problems with my feroza ;-)

We were 3 cars - all with family. a range rover, a jeep cherokee and my feroza.

i wrote a short story at www.uahhh.org - but of course this is in german.

so now the very short story:
day1: 30km alogng the river "tagliamento". on probs exept the cherokee was to deep in the water (seats unter water ;-)

day2: tagliamento. no probs exept the cherokee broke the break-lines (no breaks for the next 2 days)

day3 up the mountains to a very nice see. no probs exept the water pump broke on the cherokee ...
this means: no breaks, no engine (=no heating) and wet seats on top of the mountains. about +5°C...

if you like to see the video (17MB, Windowsmedia8, ~350kbps) you have to download it here (on the bottom of the page) :
http://www.uahhh.org -> first entry on top -> then at the bottom of the page. (webpage sometimes slow)

Looks like it was a fantastic trip.

Where exactly is the Tagliamento river? Lombardy region, or somewhere east or west of there?

Oh and by the way, tell them that if they must own a Jeep, get a Wrangler instead of a Cherokee... more likely to float

Awesome video Haasa! Worth the download time for anyone on dial up.

The poor old Cherokee getting towed/ pulled out everywhere

What was happening at the end when it looked like there were three 4WD's tied together following each other on the twisty road?? Was it icy or something? :?

We crossed a pass (300m up to 1100m) with a lot of serpentines... No breaks, no engine, no heating in/on the Cherokee. But of course we also had to go down this mountain...
Because this Jeep had NOTHING at all we used 2 Cars for towing. I bented the first rope with my Feroza while I was accelerating and we used the RangeRover for breaking. Was very, very funny

Yesterdey he called me to tell me that he bought a GrandCherokee (97)
