Hi All,

Im thinking about having a "lokka" installed in the front of my 98 MK Triton.

I have been told by a few people I would be best off haveing freewheeling / manual hubs installed first..

Has anyone done this, is it hard to do at home?

Any information appreciated...

Cheers Shaun

My advice is to steer clear of the AVM branded hubs. I had endless drama's with mine not engaging properly and dis-engaging under load etc. They also let a lot of water into the wheel bearing and hub and i was forever cleaning and re-packing front bearings. After about 2 years i threw them in the bin and got a second hand set of Aisin hubs off a Triton and have never looked back. I have noticed on e-bay there are some Aisin copies. May be worth a try. http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from ... Categories" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
