Pump 4 hydro steering

hi guys. I herd a roomer about some 4x4s using a comodore steering pump for there full hydro steering. is this true or have i been told crap

I've heard that you can use a holden astra one, its electronic one

What engine? A proper psc/trail gear pump isn't that expensive

yes you can use a holden pump you just need to get a pump from a newer model as they flow more plus there is also a few mods you can do to up the pressure in them.

Need to modify the relief so it releaves at higher pressure. Works a treat on the Truck i Navy in but we don't have hydro assist that's later on. You can also use th Nissan pumps .
