Hi, my driver seat dropped on the passengers side today. It happened while i was driving. It seems that the front dropped off that bracket that goes to the floor. Problem is i can figure out if it was bolted to it or how it was attached. Can anybody help with this?

There is a bracket welded to the back side of main support bracket that is bolted to the floor. Best bet is to take it out and have a look, compare it to the passenger side one.

Thanks Cliff, i will have a look at this. I noticed also that the seat cant move back and forth as before. I will probably have to wait until the weekend to go over it completely

There is a cable that goes from one side to the other which allows both mechanisms to work together, have a look there to make sure they're lined up and working properly

Got a good look over the weekend, the front leg is was welded to the seat itself and bolts into the floor. Seems the weld broke and thats what is giving problems. Used a board to kind of hold it in position, but will have it welded soon.

That inside rear seat bracket. Has a habit of breaking, by the captive nut being pushed out or pulled out. I replaced one and then just welded them up.
Also that braket bolts on. Need to lift the carpet to get it out.

The floor where the rear one bolts is totally worn out (or rusted) and that caused some movement with the seat. Seems as if that caused pressure on the front bracket.
