help engineering my hilux

got pulled over agian the other day so i though i should get the car engineered cheaper in the long run anyway every engineer ive spoken to wont do it with 33s as it came out with 205x16 how can i get around this car pulls up good, wheels/tyres are in side flares ive gota a 96 sr5 , sloted rotors, v6 4runner calipers, modded bpv at rear, new pads and shoes everything else was fine body lift ,suspension, turbo, any advise would be great as its my daily driver local cop really s#@*ing me did most of u get it done before this new laws

Most engineers wont pass a Lux on anything bigger than 31s. I do know of a few getting round that are certified on 33s, even a couple on 35s(but they wouldve been done before the new rules came in.

What state are you in??
Look up the RTA/equivalent to the RTA website in your state and look for a list of engineers, have a chat to a few and go from there.

Was 205R16 the largest tyre size available in the model range? Pajeros the age of mine came out with 3 different tyre sizes, and (AFAIK) owners are allowed to engineer their modifications based on the largest optional tyre size.

There wasn't a 265/70R15 option in your body style?

yeah 205x16c-6pr are the largest ( 96 ln107 sr5 ) spoke to a few only 32s at most here lies the problem 3 sets of 33s brand new 2 for the nissans 1 for hilux
