Does anyone know the kit number I need to fit firestone air bags to the rear of a 2010 70 series ute with 2" lift?

Do the bags install in the place of the bump stop or do they sit on the outside of the chassis rail?

Thanks

they mount up were the bump stop was and a saddle type bracket goes over the diff, i had them in my 79 but took them out cause they limited the up travel, but if your not worried about that they are great, also consider removing a few leafs from your pack will help unloaded compfort too i ran 4 leaves when i had them, i'll chase up the part number tonight for you, pretty sure the 8 will be the same as they didn't change the rear end in them
hope that is of some help

Thanks this is helpful. If you can find the part # that'd be great. Did yours have the 2" lift?

Also, do you know if the bag is secured to the top and bottom bracket or only the top? I was wondering how they would limit travel if they were only attached to the top mount allowing the axle to still drop away? All advice helpful.

Did you worry about retaining bump stops or just rely on the bags?

Cheers

i had the 2 inch lift as well, the bag acts as the bump stop and with the air in the bellow its stops the axel coming up as far, the tires didn't rub when i had the bags but since the bags are out they rub. The top bolts to the bump stop holes and the bottom straddles the diff housing and has two 10mm u blots that hold it down, but i also ran a small bead of weld on both the top and bottom brackets cause i didn't trust the small bolts to hold it in place, and then i simply ran the air line hoses to the back and mounted the under to number plate lights so you can see them in the dark. And its just a normal air valve you pump your tires up with, but thats all in the kit.
Part number is rr4502 and thats the firestone ones, and if you have the money you can also get an in cab control kit so you can adjust them from inside the cab, you'll need and on board compressor and an air tank helps too
hope this helps

That kit number doesn't line up on the Firestone official website. I was hoping to order through these guys as kits are under US$300; http://www.truckspring.com/suspension-p ... stone.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Any ideas? Cheers

Not sure then mate, that was the part number for mine the guys pulled out of their firestone book for the air bag helper kits, as far as the US numbers i got no idea. They probs won't have it listed on their site cause i don't think they have Crusier utes in the US apart from the tundra and another one but not like ours.
it will maybe save you couple hundred by the time you get it over here if you can find them there
it is critical you get the ones i had though otherwise you will tear the bag appart when the ute flexs out, mine were tight at full spring droop
