Does anybody know if any 80 series came with 1HD-FTE engine from the factory?

No they did not.

In Australia the early models got the 1hdt and the later models got the 1hdft. Other country's may be different?

The e on the end is for electronic injection. It was not around till 100 series. The 1hdft is also known as a multivalve. Due to the stickers on the rear quarter that read. Multivalve. Powerful but still with mech injection which some prefer. 3 valves per cylinder. The other turbos have Turbo. On the rear quarter and have 2 valves per cylinder and less power

Sorry , it's a 24 valve head on the FT same as the FTE and no not in an 80 only in the 100 series
