Looking at putting a 4 inch lift in my patrol and running 33's but not sure if it will fit in my garage.
As the suspension is sagged i cant just add the extra 5 inches or so. Can anybody tell me what their roof height is running 4 inch and 33's.
Also will a 4 inch lift be able to take 35's. pretty new to this game so will prob have many questions to come.

A 4" will just about take 37s but the problem is not the height but tyres scrubbing on the inner guard. GU diffs or spacers solve this, or limiting up travel, or having crap suspension that doesn't flex well. In the end bigger tyres on a GQ need cutting as well to stop clipping the back of the guard, my 33"Simex just clear, but scrub on the inner guard, did with a 2" lift and still do with a 4".

I had a 4" lift with 2" BL and it fitted in the shed ok.
When I got a new 4" kit from a different maker there was no way I could get it out of the shed at all. Had to drop back to 3" on those particular springs.
So whatever you buy, you might need to make sure you can take them back and swap them for smaller ones if need be.

or buy a bigger shed

Yeah too hard to say. Different lifts/brands etc get different results by quite a margin then there is settling etc.

You dont need 4 inch lift for your tyres 2 is plenty for 33's plus a fraction of the cost to do as you don't need nearly as many mods to make it drive right again. Eg camber, brake lines, new shed etc.

Also have you looked at your shed to see if there are options there? Assuming the roller door is the limiting factor they can often be lifted for a an extra inch or two of height.

35" tyres with a 5" lift & I still punched in the rear 1/4 panel on full up travle, & thats afterI had the rear 1/4's cut off.
