hi guys i got a maverick with a TB42 carby bog stock on gas and i was out 4x4ing to day out the back of glass house and found myself in a position where i need just a littel more power to get through.
what are some basic thing is can do to get some more ponies out of the old girl.
1: extractors and 2 3/4" exhaust stright through
2: eletric up grade for the dizzy. which one do you guys recomend
is there any thing i can do to the inlet side biger carby different manifold.
any thing eals you guys can think of thanks

Hey i have a few years ago done a mates one we fitted - New camsaft grind to suit LPG , refaced lifters (made it super quite ) but a big job head off etc
- Extractors , 2 & 1/2 inch exhaust - dont go straight through not enough back pressure
- Hi energy igntion form performance ignition in nunawading vic
- Impco 300A mixer and L model LPG converter
It went real well and heaps better on gas consumption too, hope this helps. We did all this because it blew a head gasket .

Ok thanks guys thinking of going turbo any segestions Wat size turbo would be good For the tb42. Wat reves would be good for the car to start spooling up, between 1700 and 2000 ?

I've been looking at fitting a holley 350 carb but mounting it sideways for the hills ect. ect.
