Hey guys just before I install my new ct20 I was just wondering if I have to do anything along the lines of bleeding the turbo. I have heard some people saying this but I don't know how this would be done. There isnt any bleeder bolts on it so I was wondering what u guys would suggest doing before turning it over. Thanks guys.

Make it so the engine won't start, then crank the motor with the starter for 30 seconds (3 lots of 10 seconds would work as well).... by this time your oil pump will have primed the turbo bearing/s..... done........ if you want to be doubly sure, you could take the turbo oil drain line off and crank till oil comes out....

Note... cranking for 30 seconds will seem very long :-)

ct20 oil feed needs good oil pressure to spray up into the turbo bearings, its more of a splash oil setup rather than pour oil directly into the bearings. best thing is to fill it with oil while its off the motor, give it a few spins and then put it on and get it working reasonably quickly.
