Hey guys

Built my lux diff a few months back and forgot to install my backing plate eliminator plates( out of sight of of mind)

Now thinking of it I have been wondering what you guys have done about where the hardline goes to the flexi line for the brakes ad they are held in place on the top of the backing plate with a tab

Cheers for the help old lux

Was just about to remove mine but I didn't think about this. Maybe a new flex line that runs straight to the caliper. I rear one would work.

The original backing plate setup has a small sheetmetal bracket to stiffen up the backing plate, that bolts to the caliper. Maybe you can use this bracket to weld on the hose holder and cut and shut your hardline to suit.

This bracket could be too weak though so maybe a stronger, similar idea would be better

What I'm doing now on my comp rig is to have a tee adaptor near the front center and run two hard lines to the top of the U bolt flip kit and welded the tabs that support the end of a flexy line. Then got custom length lines to the calipar. I have a long braided line running down to the tee piece. Same kind of setup on coil trucks like cruisers etc. Alot better than running really long flexy lines when you've got big flex. :D

^ This is how mine is.

Hilux front. Bundy rear. Bundy front hardlines on front = 1 main brakeline

Need hard/soft connector mounts on housing and knuckle modified. Can use stock cruiser hoses, i got mine made new.

My rear bundy diff is converted to disc. Same 1 main line system.

That's old school Buddy, Single drop is where it's at... :finger: Someone should make a kit. I think my short lines to the knuckle where suzi ones.
