If i picked up a 6.0 commodore V8 with the fly by wire throttle, how can i delete it and what sort of money am i looking at? I'm told that it's not hard to just run a FBW throttle in the cab but if it's going to get exposed to mud and water in a buggy then i could be in trouble.
Any one done this?

Never mind, i spoke to Steve (killalux) who has skooled me in this.
Has anyone tried to seal or protect a FBW accelerator unit?

The FBW pedal would be pretty easy to seal up.
The wiring conector is a water proof (resistant maybe) item and some sealant on the removable cover would see it done.
You would need to sink the car to get much mud or water into it as most water would just flow over/around it.
I have a spare damaged FBW pedal I could dismantle and photograph for you.
