Been trying to raise Dave regarding this matter myself Steve- no replies. Jarrad seems to have done a runner too?
The info on Out of Adelaide seems to indicate the quarry is still open.

Come on fella's.... i havent done a runner. i just dont post usless crap from day to day!
Dave has been having some computer problems but should be back soon!
I have been heaps busy lately and havent had time to shoot up to the quarry and have a look, i believe its still open, but will go up there in a few weeks and confirm!

Good to see you're still around- I was referring to the PM I sent you last Friday- did you get it?

OK, sorry Jarrad.. It must have got lost somewhere as I never received the reply.
Glad to hear their alloys are good; I ended up getting a set but a different design to yours. I was a bit hesistant after all the dramas with their steel wheels.

What type of wheels did you end up getting??

I think they're called "Scorpion", just a six spoke design. Partly chosen because the face is recessed and less likely to get scratched off road.
Still got the same tyres.... If I ever get a dedicated off road tyre I'll fit them onto my old Daihatsu rims.

Hello,
I'm here. I have been flat out as we are moving at the end of next week, we have an inspection on this saturday with no time to get the house ready for it. Plus i'm going to Melborne next Sunday and everything has decided to go bang on my car. So i'm in the middle of putting a new clutch, rear main seal, brakes, service, airfilter, gearbox oil etc etc. So things have been a little hectic! I should be right in about 2 - 3 weeks when i'm back in with my fiancee's parents and life is easy again.
See ya all soon!
Dave

A few weeks time would be better for me too.
And yes i will bring both my tyres this time. The one with the hole in the sidewall only cost $34 to get fixed, and can hardly tell where the repair is.

There's a post on Out of Adelaide from a guy who went to the quarry last weekend- said it's open and really good.
Something about only having half a day to play wasn't enough time too?!
