Hey mate, the Marlin gears available at the moment are chromoly and are cut in Japan by Toyota's gear cutter. Thy hey also feature Marlin's "total spline" technology meaning that they're stronger at the weakest part (after outputs). Better design and superior material/heat treatment.

The trail-gear ones should be fine with 35" tyres and semi-hard driving, depending on your diff ratios.

You'll want to put a 300M Longfield rear output or Marlin 30 spline rear output in at the same time as it'll break before the gears.
