help with low profile transfercase crossmember

g-day, im installing trailgear 4.7 gears in my 99 hilux, ive bought the adaptor plate and all tho i was wondering once the adapter plate and transfer are all bolted up, what crossmember can i use? do i need a custom 1 becouse the apaptor plate pushs the transfer back.? or will a bubs or superior cross member ust bolt straight up and how much will i (if i need to) shorten my rear shaft.

yeah man its simple as to fit!!!!
if you have put the gears in a forward shift transfer u will need to convert it to a top shift, u can buy the kit form low range offroad
u will need to shorted the rear shaft and lengthen the front shaft

thanks heaps bud, do u know if a cross member from bubs or superior or whoeva fit straight upto it.? or do i have to get a custom 1 made up

Hey mate, I don't think anyone makes a crossmember that'll fit the gear driven TC to you stock crossmember mounting points. Bubs, or anyone handy could make one.
Best bet is to use the FROR mount and skid
http://frontrangeoffroadfab.com/nfoscom ... ucts_id=31" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. On sale currently. Snake are selling them for $420 which is pretty decent. You'll have to weld the chassis mounts in but it's the best way to have decent ground clearance.

I have made one to suit factory Xmember by cut & shutting the bushing bracket.

does any1 know the thickness of the chain to drive adaptor.?
