If it's anything like the E6K software, you need to run it in DOS or windows 95 for it to run. that might be your problem ?

CD\ C:\directory\program.exe /f /s

or

Cmd run regedit

Or

Cmd config etc etc

That kinda thing - ( Can't remember a whole lot of it ATM  )

Or go to Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features - Run Programs for previous versions of window - Program Compatibility - Next and try from there

I remember having huge problems with this I run windos 7 and managed to get it to work (please dont ask me how)and I too couldnt down load it properly off their website. and becareful using a USB to serial adaptor mine (ECU) locked up and had to send it back to Haltech. Make sure you dont you a cheap adaptor and install the correct drivers for it. PM me your email and I'll send you a zip file of the program.

The other option is get your hands on an old laptop for $100-200 or even free try asking at work they may have an old lappy not needed anymore. have this just for engine tuning.
