i was thinking to get an EZ locka for the front of my coiler just to save money, its just like a lockright so it sits inside of the front hemi. They make them and market them for the jimny however i heard that the jimny diffs is very simular to the coilers front. its got something to do with the number of pins the diff has.

whats is the number in pins (2 or 4) for the coiler's front and the jimnys front. if its the same then it should fit without any machining or mods done to the diff or locka.

Welding the planetry gears is not an option. ARB cost tooooooo much.
i don't need no stinking quote for my sig. line!

A1 you could always sell the pooootroll :finger:
The mods to fit the locker aren't to hard but you do need a mill and a lathe and know how to use them.
It took me 6 hours to get it right so I don't mean to be arrogant by not spilling the beans on exactly how its done.
But if people want to supply the locker and diff I am more than happy to do the mods.

A1 we will havwe to talk about what Hypo said.

Holy Gravedig Batman!

Contact Sam at Overkill - I believe he's done a few.

A also believe it's possible to fit a jimny 3rd member (whole cast diff centre bit) into a coiler and use an off the shelf airlocker. This will also gain you 4.1 diffs (slightly lower) but you'll have to replace the rear diff too if you were to try this.

diameter of the jimny third member casting is 1 litre size, the casting on the coily is 1.3 litre diameter.

bring back the old days when suzuki kept stuff the same ( sort of!).
could mod a whole jimny diff housing to wack in the coily, then make up some real coil and shock mounts.

so i take it the airlockers are being re-drilled and machined from the current 10 bolt pattern to the coily 8 bolt?
