2L, 3L, 5L.

Hi i am lokking at doing a hilux engine conversion into my suzuki and was wondering what the difference was between these engines.

Size weight ect.

i was told that they all run the same block... is this true any help would be awesom.

also is anyone has measurements and weights of these donk's i nwould love to know!

Heavy heavy and heavy mate. Too much for a Zuk. For the lack of power. If your keen on diesel a turbo diesel gemini motor would be better I think

no comment on weight or suitability
but they use the same block but different crankshaft and pistons. the odd one out is early 2l's which run a different head.

2.4, 2.8 and 3.0 litre versions of same engine. Blocks are only different to allow for bore and stroke differences.

Very heavy as they are all cast iron.

I have the 5L in an Ln65 single cab.. Very little power but torque is great. Not a chance i would put that much weight in a zuk

Mate I have a 2LT and as much as I love it to death and wont get rid of it, I wouldn't wish it on an one,not on purpose anyway

Probably better off turboing a 1.6 uki motor
