Hi guys,

Been trying to search the bible but my phone is being gay and I dont have access to my laptop at the moment so please forgive me if its somewhere obvious that i've missed...

Vt commodore V6 ecotech into LN65 series hilux conversion. The drivers side engine mount is sorted but does anyone know a way to mount the passengers side engine mount to the original hilux chassis mount so that we dont need to cut/weld on the chassis to do the conversion. Just makes everyone (ie: rta/engineers) happier.

Thanks in advance.

From memory the engine mount sits too low so you have to cut it off and lower it

Dunno if you got an answer to this already,

I ran into the same issue with my V6 conversion,
But Stock 4Runner was spot on, the mount on the passenger side is HEAPS lower to accomodate the A/C pump and bracket.
I just got a Marks' Adaptors mount kit for that side and used the standard 22R mounting (with commodore mount) for Drivers side.
I can get photos if you need em.

cheers,
Bart
