hilux fuel compsumption

Post by outcast005 »

require some info on a 07 mod 3.0 ltr turbo hilux as on a full tank it can only do just 500klms per tank and 2 other people that i know can get 600 to 650 took it back to toyota at mango hill and they said that every thing was fine but they also give me really good reason not to trust what they say the security on lux was playing upso i took it there and $900 and 3days later i walked out with a new key. the more i think about it was only the battery on the origanal key so after that then the fuel consumption has had a go bad any info would be greatly recevied cheers

Have you tried putting diesel injector cleaner in the tank? That can improve economy if the injectors are dirty.
It's a cheap first thing to try.
