It won't be fitted untill bottom end build is done but want to get it all planned.
Thanks

What is it that you want to know about it? What engine setup is it going on?

Its a 1uzfe It'll eventually have.
Top end - Cam, valve springs, ported and polished. Individual throttle bodies.
Bottom will get pistons later on and will most likely do the NOS then.
Like i asked the dos and donts! Like how much? How many times? Just info in general

I am sticking a 75 hp wet nitrous kit on a g16 in a lwb Sierra. Give me a month or 6 weeks and I reckon I might have a idea of what not to do.
I bought a nos brand wet kit from e bay for $440 and have a progressive fuel/gas controller thingo that should keep engine damage to a minimum. hopefully.

It all depends how much you running??
a small shot eg 75hp wont require any mods. The main thing is the bigger the shot the more fuel you require so if running a wet system bigger pumps for the nos system etc.
I dont think you would require pistons unless talking big hp of nos.

I was thinking around 100hp shot but have enough to hit it say 4 times.
Am eventually going to built the engine so night be able to go to a 125hp shot

Are you planning on short bursts or WOT for longer periods of time.. eg long straight track off road racing?
Even with 125hp I think a standard motor would take that quite easily!
Just dont let it lean out

It'll only be set up for open speed sections, it won't get used for crawling.

especailly something like 1UZ motor .. they have a pretty durable bottom end etc in them to begin.
Its not like your talking about adding it to a 202..
The only thing I know for sure is stay away from brick walls ... ask cheezy for more info.

Mate has a vb drag car with a worked 6L
Ran a 11.34
Than 10.89 on nos.
The nos kit was the one old mate mentioned before. $450 or something Like that. This most likely wont help but it made that much difference in his car.
And as far as I know I thought nos wasn't allowed in 4wd events, TT might be different but I know winch challenge is a no no

If you watch the fast and the furious when you hit nos everything goes blury cause you go that fast.
Perfect for what you want.

I am hoping that doubling the HP of the Suzuki motor will let me do the speed limit

I ran a little wet single fogger system in a Mazda rotary, the best way for Wat you want is to fit the actuator switch the they supply to ur throttle body so it actuated at wot but just be aware to have ur rpm up abit befor doing so you don't don't want to be pumping all that extra fuel and nitrous in down low all the time. Also invest in a bottle warmer best Way to keep your pressures right to use. Have fun it's addictive!!

one problem im going to have is im looking at Individual Throttle Bodies which makes the above hard as there will be 8 of them

Feed the nitrous and extra fuel in upstream of the throttle bodies, my kit recommended around 10.5 inch before the TB. I tapped into the fuel rail to supply the extra fuel jet and upgraded the fuel pump. Nos recommend being able to maintain 43psi +/-5psi in the fuel rail.
My nitrous controller will only arm above 3000rpm and at wot will progressively open the solanoids.

Yeah if your able to mount the fogger up stream in the intake pipe somewhere(unless ur runnin open trumpets or something) and the microswitch will only need to get its pickup off one tb so ull be rite

Or a fogger for each intake runner that'd be the go

considering SZ's car has little, to no floor. I'd say the zook will be good for a 200 shot.

Yea I hadn't figured out what I'm doing for intake. Was thinking just a little pod filter on each trumpet. So could I put a fogger jet in each trumpet? Do they always go before the butterfly?

If your running a nozzle for each port they are usually placed in a similar spot to where your fuel injectors sit. ie between the throttle body and the head.
You run two switches, 1st arms the system then second one is on your throttle body so when at wot it turns on

Hmmm I might have to make a spacer/adapter plate. The itb I'm looking at bolt directly to the head. So if I did up a spacer plate to take the jet that could work

a Stock 1uz bottom end will handle it fine. have rear a few different places that the crank is rated at 1500-1600 Hp and the rods and pistons are rated just shy of a 1000 Hp so a bit of gas(100-150 shot) should be fine.

Biggest problem your likely to have is finding a cheap way to retard ignition timing on activation, as with any form of aspiration for every pound of boost or in your case nitrous the timing must be retarded, a tuner would tell you about 3 degrees for a 100 hp shot. Any engine that has a dissy you can set the base timing a little lower but with yours you cannot do that at the ecu map sets the timing. Also I would recommend having a separate fuel pump and reg solely for the wet system and even some people go to the effort of running another fuel cell with a higher octane than your unleaded to prevent detonation. Nos is safe and fun to use with the proper controls, if I was to buy another kit it would be the zex kit with the module that monitors bottle pressure and adjust fuel pressure to suit, if not buy the end of the bottle the shot runs really rich and does perform any good . Also other problems you may encounter with using nos system not controlled buy an aftermarket ecu maybe engaging to low in the rev range and cause an induction back fire which is a sure way to spin bearings or even bend rods, with something like a motec or an autronic you can set what rpm range you would like it to engage without looking at a taco to wait for a safe rpm. Anyway I could ramble on all night if you have a specific question pm or post, I have a bit of know how and no not since I spun a bearing in the 3rz

Mine is a zex kit. best efi kit you can get imo. I also ingauge mine at very low rpm, fully aware that it is doing detremental things but it will pull the motor through into boost instead of stalling. a stock 16b will not run 75hp for long either, but it will be great fun while it lasts.

Thanks for the info, come grab me at toperi and have a chat. Like I said b4 I don't know anything about it nor setting it up.
I've already got a standalone Adaptronic ecu so hopefully tuning will be easy.
Cheers
