Its not legal to run no muffler. It would be above noise pollution regs.

Just run a staight thru pipe with a straight thru 15" resonator to take away drone and excess noise.

Some of those testimonials are a worry eg the unleaded VN Commodore that had the exhaust tip colour change from black to grey.... unleaded cars are supposed to be black!
I think I've seen the same mufflers fitted to a friends F100 V8. We were all dubious, but IIRC it did actually improve on the dyno. The exhaust sound was something else too with a distinct whistle at high revs.

Test of that muffler - didn't do anything in their (A Current Affair) tests on an 01 AU Falcon

I guess it would depend what the "before" muffler was!
That test was purely measuring emissions and fuel economy too- nothing mentioned about power output.

THE BEST!
Yes, I was thinking about putting one of them on the Feroza. What sort of price do they go for?

flowmasters arent cheap or really a bling chromed bit of tin but they are 1.6mm aluminized steel fully mig welded, way better than a rolled edged piece of tin packed with fibreglass. They out perform and out last all the others, generally only see them on high HP drag and speedway engines in OZ but they sound FAT on a street car. A little loud at idle but really shut up the noise when your up it! A lot of cars in 'petersons 4x4' run them.
I have dynoed prob 20 cars with them fitted and they gave awesome results in all applications. average price about $200-$275 (street application)

Have a look at the rest of the rubbish you can buy on that site, including books on how to build a WATER POWERED fuel cell.
