IMHO the only thing that works 100% (tested and proven)
drill and tap yr dizzy near the mech advance and run compressed air in if you have on board air. this work really well.... I run a nidle air valve that i turn on when enter deepish water hole or bogs...
don't silcon the dizzy cause it will sh!t you to tears when you have to remove it for what ever reason.
the silcon or rubber glove option works a little but the problem i found was not water gettting in the dizzy but cold water hitting the radiator and causing steam which in turn create condensation in the dizzy.
this works 80% of the time...
drill and tap dizzy like above and then drill tap air box and run a hose between the 2 the only problem i found with this setup is that it sucks rather then blows so if the water is deep then it will get sucked in to dizy.
as a quick fix get a 4l ice cream container and cut around dizzy and place over the top this slows things down a little but the option with the compressed air works the best!!

Many distributors have drain/breather holes in the body below the points plate, and if you araldite fittings for your compressed air breather hoses to these it will save you drilling new ones and having to plug these ones anyway. a 12volt air horn compressor is adequate for this application.
