Has any1 hiflowed an injector pump on a 2.8 turbo diesel hilux? I used to own a TD42t with a gt2860rs and was told to hiflow the pump for more power, just wanted to know if its the same for the luxys as I've just brought 1.

Have you maxed out the standard pump ? Might be worth seeing if a 3.0L or 3.0L TD pump could be adapted.

I've got a boost compinsated pump off the 2.4L surf but b4 I go fitting it I wont to make sure there's nothing else I can do to it to save doing things twice.

i think some guys where modding pumps off mitsi's.
theres a few diesel specialist that do high power engines, they would probably know.

How much power you chasing out of a 2.8? Mines turbod and the pump, turbo, and timing setup I have will light up 35s no issues. How much more do you need

I won't to give a td42t a run for its money, I don't expect to win but don't won't to b a push over

i got no issues in giving your average patrol or cruiser a run for its money. i have gotten a skyline over a set of traffic lights if that counts.
when i get around to it i will throw it on a dyno and see what happens. it all comes down to you turbo and fuel pump timing. i got mine going hard man. just had a few issues with the clutch grabbing and trying to work things out and my father didnt even relise when he was in the seat it was sitting there slowly turning the 35s
