Hi,
I have a reasonably big water/air intercooler in my TD42 patrol and as it is a winch challenge truck I am going to mount a full size patrol radiator on the tray for the cooling with twin thermo fans and need to know what size water pump I need??
I'm looking at the Davies Craig electric water pumps what sizes are people running EWP80 (80l/pm) or the
EWP115 (115l/pm) or is there a better pump out there more suited to the application.
Any help would be good

You don't want the water to pump too fast for a W2AIC. I use a Bosch Cobra pump on mine and it has been to hell and back and still going strong. Flows about 25L/m IIRC. These pumps are used in a few of the OEM vehicles with W2AIC set ups. I got mine from Frozen Boost but they can be sourced locally for a few more dollars.
Have you thought how you're going to turn it on IE; is it just going to come on with the ignition or once you reach a certain inlet air temps or once the engine sees boost or throttle position etc? There are many ways...

Years ago I had a water to air intercooler on a ricer that I just used a bilge pump on. I wired it so it came on with ignition so it was running constantly. It lasted the 6 or so years I had that car and gave me no problems at all, it might still be working today...
On my cruiser I also use a bilge pump, it came with the frozen boost kit.

The Bosch Cobra pump is an optional upgrade on the frozen boost kit and is more than double the price but may be well worth it.
