Hey guys, Ive just updated my model range to include GQ and GU patrols. Its an optional extra that Im sure will ease alot of peoples brake problems, and save $$ over time. These are a direct replacement Stainless Steel brake pistons (includes full rubber rebuild kits). Ive put an add up in the drive line classifieds. Prices are up there also. For any questions, or to express interest for a set from a model not yet covered. Feel free to email me in the link on the add. And feel free to discuss it also.

Cheers enjoy.

What is the advantage of going to a stainless piston? is it just that it won't pit down the track?

They will always be in perfect working order. People say their brakes are great, but definated notice the difference after they are rebuilt. Well that's how these are all the time. No pitting or rust ever (from damaged rubber boot/moisture in your brake line). Pitting, sticky and seized pistons suck. Once the Factory pistons need changing and you go to the Chinese elcheapo's. they are guaranteed to rust up and seize. = locked up brakes/ accident/ smoking pads warp the rotor/ tow truck/ and hefty bill for removing seized pistons. This is just another option. 1 less headache to worry about (ever again). As they will last the life of your truck.

Genuine $750
SS $350
Chinese $220

good idea for those that are in mud and water a lot.
You should be flushing your brake fluid every 2 years, then internal corrosion is not a problem.
