Hi. Will a Hilux LN 106 Power Steering Box fit into a YN65 ?
I want to fit power steering to my YN65. A friend has a LN106 Box and was just wondering if anyone knows if it will bolt in or would it need to be modifyed?
Thanks
Raymond

Pretty sure the steering boxes will interchange as long as they are both live axle, or both IFS.

My LN65 has power steer that has come other of something else. My mate's LN106 looks like it has the same box so I'd go with yes it will fit.

If your steering is stock, then NO it will not bolt in. It's actually quite a task to swap to later model steering. I'm currently doing it. The early lux steering (yours) work completely different to later (ln106)

whats the difference the LN vs RN? as its a straight swap froma LN106 to a LN65.(i did it myself)
only difference wuill be the power sterring pump and so forth

Sorry I might have the models mixed up. If the LN106 from which the box came from has leaf springs in the front, Then it WILL fit. IF it has Torsion Bar independent front suspension, then it WONT be a straight swap.
