Air locker help
Trying to swap a RD132 from a 96 hilux rear diff to a 96 V6 4runner rear dif. The 4runner diff has larger carrier bearings 83mm OD compared to 80mm OD hilux ones. this means the ARB carrier bearing adjuster nut won't fit the 4runner diff. ARB's application chart says the RD132 should fit the 4runner diff. has anyone else came across this problem?
Re: Air locker help
Mmm that's strange as I thought it was the ID of the bearings that changed sizes and the od was the same.
Going from v6 either one should be the same from my experience
Sorry that does not really help you, unless one of the two cars had diffs swapped from something else.
