Hi just remember if you are fitting or want to fit an internal cage starting at the "A" pillar you have until the 30th April to get it approved for the road (Queensland).

After that you will not be allowed to comply a full cage for use on Queensland roads, due to the new NCOP that came into force on the 1st November 2012.

If you have any questions give me a call 0418 745 830

Cheers
David

Can't believe they are bringing in this rule for QLD. Seems so stupid for soft top 4x4s that would have questionable strength in there windscreen in a rollover. (ie FJ40)

All going well Brooksy should have the one in my BJ42 sorted for you to approve by the end of March.

I can see why they have done it, 3/4 of the cages I have seen are terrible and reduce the field of view by a lot, or are dangerous for another reason.
One mate had a cage built by a big name and his helmet touched it when driving - with no helmet on the road it would not take much to have a serious head injury.

They should allow cages if they are signed off by someone though - just another one of our freedoms gone!
