hi,

as the subject asks i'm wanting to find out if the flywheels on gq petrol (tb42) and diesel (td42) the same or different??

if the are the same i'll be using a machined petrol flywheel on a diesel, otherwise if i can't do that i'll be looking for one if you have one lying around (S/E qld)

........

so i've found a motor to fit that comes with a clutch so i don't really need to know the answer to my q anymore. however if you do know it would still be of interest to me whether or not they are the same or not for future refference

thanks

lepa

Not even td42 flywheels are the same as td42 flywheels.
the GU turbo motors are different.
I doubt very much a tb42 flywheels is even close to a td42 one. But I havent played with TB42s.

flywheels are different mate. 1 has 6 holes and a dowel , the other has 7 holes and a dowel. not sure which is which though but they are definately different.
