I bought 5 Goodyear DuraTrac tyres from them just over a year ago.
It took about 8-10 days delivered to our factory door and that included a delay of a day or 2 while being inspected by customs at the FedEx distribution facility in Melbourne.
The tyres came by Air freight and the air freight cost was US $449 for 5 tyres weighing in at 104 Kgs total. So at an air freight cost of around $4.30 per Kilo I thought that was pretty reasonable.
I wasn't charged for GST as the price of the tyres came in under $1000 but I probably should have been as the air freight pushed it over by around $300+.
Be aware that they only accept payment by direct bank to bank payment and has to be done over your bank counter.
Also your bank will require a USA street address for all the documentation at this end so I'd advise you talk to your bank beforehand to see exactly what they require so you're not running around trying to find the info your bank wants.
Even with the air freight I saved around $500-600 but I needed 17" tyres and at the time the range of 17" tyres here was not as good as it is now.
Do your homework and see if the savings are there for you but there have been lots of people who have dealt with them without any problems.
Regards Andrew.

Keep an eye on the date these were posted.
I bet postage is more than 500 now. Back then it went up $100 in 6mths as i think the postage/tirerack caught on to what we were doing

If the actual cost of the goods is below $1000AUD then the cost of shipping does not come into it. However if the actual cost of goods is over $1000 then shipping is also included.

Quuick ebay gives me $325 each from tempe tyres for 35's - reputable shop
There is also someone called 'international tyre trader' who has them listed for 286 each.
No idea what freight would cost from either of those though
At those prices I would just buy locally - IMO not worth the potential hassels or getting slugged with additional costs

Personally Dan, Id go to Ryano at Fourbys in QLD.
If he cant get them, then the us of a is the next bet.
Ryano doesnt get on here much these days, but someone on your FB list should know him and be able to put you in contact.
But from everything Ive read, and heard, Krawlers arent easy to find, and not cheap either.

This is incorrect. The cost of goods and the cost of freight is added to work out GST. If the goods were $600 and the freight $600 the GST would be on $1200. Just because they dont always charge it doesnt mean the law is different.

No, what he posted is correct. If the value of the goods is </=$1000 then they are not taxed. If the value of the goods is >$1000 then they are GST taxable and that taxable amount is calculated on the value of the goods PLUS the shipping cost. See item 26 below
