KW the Vicroads engineer wont touch 4wds anymore.. Bloke is selling his GQ wanted it engineered called KW, and he said Bzzzzz wont touch it.

Heres a copy of the mail...

He has stopped doing 4WDs because of some court case (not his work) in NSW. Apparently an engineer is being sued for millions because some vehicle he certified had an accident. This is despite the fact that the vehicle was being driven unregistered by an unlicensed driver at
the time. One suspects lawyers up to their usual tricks.

So I would hope. Not many engineers out there unfortunately. VicRoads
site no longer has the list on it and their promised fax has not yet
shown up.

Richard.

I just got a 308 Holden engine done in a 73 series in Vic with little hassle.

He looked straight at the front brake hoses and said they're always perished in every one he sees. Then had to add a Hotdog to get noise from 92db to below 90. (Doesn't crackle like a race car when I gear down now!!)

Ring any engineer to find out what emissions standards etc you will need to comply with. If / when you finally get through they are happy to talk through relevant info cos if they get your business, they can charge you $600 for 1 1/2 hours of their time!!

Good Luck
