Ford Ranger Axle seal replacement,?

Just bought a 2008 Ford Ranger, failed RWC due to slight leak in the rear axle seal. Just starting to leak onto the shoes.
Can someone describe the removal of the axle please. From what I can see by searching, there is a C clip on the axle inside the diff housing. Not very good with computers, been told I can get a download of the shop manual.
