To Fit 33's

If i raised my otherwise standard TD42 with a 2 inch suspension lift, would this be enough to fit 33's. It also has the factory flares.
Would I notice a decline in acceleration (remember no turbo), and would it stress the engine too much?
Anyone done this without changing diff ratios etc

Andrew,
my ride has 2" coils at the moment and a 2" body lift, and still just snags 33 MTRs on 15 x 8 ROH wheels. Just nicks the front mudflaps and rear flares on full compression. I am putting 6" coils in soon as I get a nice day and a coupla mates to help.
Acceleration would me minimally effected, but I believe you would notice a little. You need to remember that your speedo would be out too. About 8%.
I am running standard diffs, but have a DTS turbo on mine.

Mate I had 35's with a 5" lift and 2" body lift - the tyres still scrubb on 15x8.5 rims - Yup you lose power but hey nothing in life is free!! You also gain ground clearance and drop your rev's on the highway....I dropped down to 33's and now the Mav just wants to fry those brand new 33's.

Note 10.50 is very different from 12.50 which is more than likely the size he will be going for!!!

3inch lift will get 33's but OEM flairs MAY suffer depending on articulation. TB has them like this and on full artic they hit.
Going with 10.5s over 12.5's can be an advantage in some situations, and also on the wallet...

why would he more than likely be going 12.50? The 10.50 fit the standard rims, they are easier on components, cheaper to buy and work better in mud due to a better footprint (long instead of square).
