Working out rim offsets help.

Hey, Ive just bought a couple of rims, the guy I got them off said they are 15x8s, and they came off a live axle Lux. Im trying to work out what the offset is on them.
They are just plain white sunraysias, so no obvious signs that they are different to any other sunny rim out there.

Ive just had a good look over the rims, and got some info, Im hoping some on here can help me work out the offset.

I did google how to measure rim offset, and it says to measure the width of the rim(lip to lip), then measure from the lip to the backside of the wms to figure out the offset.

Heres the info I got from the rims(theres only 2).....
Rim 1-
Mangels 8JJ x 15 - 1505 DOT 01/05 Made In Brasil 553
Im assuming Mangels is the maker of the rim, 15x8(although Im not sure what JJ means), and they were made in Brasil. No idea what the other numbers mean.
And when I measured from lip to lip, it is 230mm wide, and I put a straight edge on the back of the rim, and measure to the inside of the wms, it is 93mm.
So to get the offset, I halve the width of the rim, which is half of 230mm, so 115mm. Then take 93 off that and Im left with 22. So neg 22??
Is that anywhere near correct??

Rim 2-
8 x JJ15 98 8 YF Made In Taiwan
So 15x8, Not sure what the numbers or YF mean, and its made it Taiwan.
And when I measured this one, it is 225mm wide from lip to lip, and from the straight edge to the inside of the wms, it is 87mm.
So if I use the same method as above, half of 225mm is 112.5, then take 87 off that, and Im left with 25.5. Neg 25.5??

Can someone please tell me if Ive done it right, or if they know what the numbers on the rims mean.

Thanks a bunch.

Thanks Evan, I did google before I posted up here. And I was pretty much on the money too. Wow.

Would there be any issues from running both these rims together, having slightly different offsets?? Its only 3.5mm.

Nope but you'll need to keep in mind your front and rear tracks will be different.

That said my buggy will have a narrower rear diff than the front

3.5mm wont matter. My sierra is 10mm narrower in the front from factory.

Thanks guys. Running IFS rear diff, and IFS hubs and spacers in the front already.
