I little coil conversion gem I found

I don't know if this has been done before but thought I'd let everyone know. Just did a rear cool conversion in my hilux and actually used the rear diff out of a NH pajero. And soo far is the best thing ever. It's a 9.5 inch diff, standard 4.875 gears, standard with 31 spline axles, disc brakes, same coil mounts as a patrol so endless coils you can choose and comes standard with a shaved bottom . Really got everything going for it. Just another idea for people looking to do a coil conversion.

Are you saying the Paj diff has a 9.5" crown wheel, and what is the diffs track width?

No the newer rear diffs, we looked at. Sweet units!
Front paj diff wouldn't suit a barbie toy car!

The later model solid axle rear is definitely a 9.5 inch ( optional factory locker )

31 spline 33.5mm axle.

Don't even need the factory locker. Pajinas LSD centres work really well.
Something different to the IFS widetrack/60s/80s we often see.
Good to see someone thinking out of the box.
Get pics up, maybe start a build thread in the members section.
