Hey all,
I've got a 1992 HDJ80R with a 5 inch lift I'm looking to sell soon.
Does anyone know if I'll have any trouble getting the RWC with the lift in?
I'm in VIC.
Cheers

Has the mdifications been engneered (by a certified engineer)? If not it is unlikely to get a roadworthy.
Victoria has adopetd the VSB14 from NCOP11 Section LS Suspension and Steering V2 01Jan2011.
This can be read here
http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonl ... hicles.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in particular section 13.

No engineer. I was told no engineers would look at it if it was over 2inch, but wasn't sure if it was the same for RWC.

The point of having the vehicle Engineered is to ensure that its is Roadworthy and meets the States regulatory rules. Technically your vehicle is un-roadworthy (does not meet the rules) and technically uninsured.
Now even if your insurance company does take your hard earned money, your policy will state that you are insured providing you meet State or Territory regulations. You may even get a repair done if in an accident. But in the case of injury to a person... well that is another story.
If you are going to sell, do it without a RWC or drop it back to 2", you will be able to sell the 5" lift, someone will buy it.

NO chance, swap in some 2'' springs and sell it with the 5'' springs in the back.
