Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I'll admit I've only just started looking for the info so it maybe obvious, but I'm trying to find manufacturer (king/fox etc) recommendations on sizing and bypasses.

2.5 - 3.0 with triple by pass seem to be most common but at what point do you go to 4.0 and 8 bypass?
Any one got any good links to info? King website is all vague from what I've found.

Bypasses that have enough travel to keep up with your hydro? Or are you ditching the hydro after all?

yeah keeping hydro they will just be limited by shock length.

I'd say that ultimately your travel will be limited by the CV-angles of your setup.

Nah only going to run 18s. But you can get em up to like 30" now I think I saw the other day

I bet they'd bounce up and down on the shaft all day. I especially like how she can do 2 things at the same time. She knows how to twist the nut while holding the shaft at the same time.

Yep those ADS Bypasses are just stupid big, actually I can feel something else getting bigger looking at that pic

Agreed on CV angles being the limiter, but travel at the wheel doesn't have to equal travel at the shock. Inboard them up the arm and valve to suit the motion ratio. Most of the IFS cars out there are running fairly short shocks and/or bypasses depending on how you package them. Campbell's old car/Bill Bairds car

Yep I nearly ballsed this part up big time when pricing my shocks! for whatever reason had a mental blank on the fact that mounting on the arms means more travel at the wheels.
