recommendations on chassis hight for crawler?

ok, another question for the more experienced/ knoledable of you.
as previously stated I'm in the process of building a rock crawler/ hardcore weekender using an fj45 chassis and MOG404/9" diffs.
I'm planning on building this with a 110" wheel base as guide.

i want to set up the chassis on a rotisserie for the early part of the build and if I'm going to this much effort id like to set it up at ride height.
an insight to what others have done and what others would recommend will be great assistance in my decision.

thanks, Lawri

Don't build it at ride height, build it at full suspension compression.
ie. if you think you want 500mm belly height and 150mm of bump travel set your rotisserie or table or whatever up at 350mm and build everything to fit at that height. Suspension, drivetrain mounts, tailshafts, everything.

This way you'll find all the problem areas (there'll be heaps of them with the portals) straight away, rather than next month after 100 hours of fabrication.
