What sort of fuel should I be using in a 78 2dr?

Also does anyone have a drivers seat with integral seatbelt in the Melbourne area?

I asked this question about a month ago.
Have just switched to unleaded for our standard 80 RR 3.5
Will probably (haven't yet) use premium unleaded in the 79 RR 4.4 dual fuel due to the ignition timing.

You should be able to run unleaded.

Mostly I use lead replacement, but I probably have higher comp ratio than you and no vacuum advance and can ping with normal unleaded.

http://www.aip.com.au/health/lead_guide.htm states that a 8.13 compression ratio Range Rover can use unleaded.

The compression ratio is stamped where the eng number is.
(where the dip stick is).

If the engine is standard, unleaded will be OK.

fuel economy, what the F#@! is that????

Seriously, fuel economy is the least of your issuees with rangiwe ownership, ti's all the other crap thet goes wrong with a 25 year old fourby.

I used to get about 20L/100 kms out of my old 76 Rangie I had a few year back, running extractors and the crappy single points.

Hope I didn't dampen your spirits, just telling you the truth to be honest!!

Who mentioned fuel economy?
I know I didn't, 'cause fuel and economy don't go together with my 79 4.4.
